Robert "Bobby" B. Allen, 54, of Culpeper, died on Monday, August 20, 2012, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Bobby was born on June 13, 1958, at Georgetown University, in Washington, D.C., to the late John E. Allen and Mrs. Shirlee Martin.

Bobby was a vivid Redskins fan and avid golfer. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting. Bobby is survived by his five children, Robert B. Allen Jr. and his wife, Heidi, Ryan A. Allen, Julia Allen Hume and her husband, Chris, Brett B. Allen and Blair M. Allen, all of Culpeper; and one dear grandchild, Layla B. Hume.

Bobby is also survived by his siblings, Danny Allen and his wife, Lisa, Joey Allen and his wife, Debbie, all of Culpeper, and Alisa Chapella and her husband, Joe, of Lexington, South Carolina.

In addition to his father, Bobby was preceded in death by one brother, John E. Allen Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Virginia. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2012, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Randy Albritton officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
