Robert Andrini Obituary
Robert "Bob" Andrini, a lifelong member of the St. Charles community, and a passionate advocate for education and nature, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on November 6th, 2025. Bob was born October 8th, 1943, to Attilio and Matilda Andrini.
He is survived by his loving family, who carry forward his legacy of kindness and passion for nature; Anthony Andrini, Gerilyn (Russell) Benning and Joy (Samuel) Wilson; his three grandchildren, Riley Benning, Elijah and Isaac Wilson; his sisters-in-law, Donna Andrini, Caroline Andrini and brother-in-law, Thomas (Linda) Kopacz.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Kopacz Andrini; his brothers, Bernard and Ralph Andrini; and their parents.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 11th, from 3-8 p.m. at Yurs Funeral Home of St. Charles, 405 East Main Street.
Funeral mass on Wednesday, November 12th at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2900 East Main St, St. Charles.
Donations can be made to the Illinois Audubon Society or Feed My Staving Children.

I had the good fortune to be Bob´s roommate throughout my college career. He was a great friend, always helpful, smart and full of life. Bob and I played soccer together and years later via long distance maintained our contact on our respective birthdays. There is a heaven and Bob is now among the blessed. Condolences to his family and loved ones.

I am shocked and saddened by this. I saw him & his late wife give a presentation years ago at our library on bird species of Illinois. I send my heartfelt condolences to his family and to all who loved him. Rest in eternal peace, Bob.

After 8 years of grade school, playing soccer together in college, saving our family home from fire, being the Best Man at my wedding and spending years of family fun together, I have to say 'goodbye' to one of oldest and closest friends.
