Robert Aparicio-Chavez, 38, died June 8, 2024, in Lakin, Kansas. Born on March 13, 1986, in Juan Aldama, Zacatecas, Mexico, the son of Jesus and Maria Del Socorro (Chavez) Aparicio. Robert's family moved in Lakin in the early 1993, he attended schools there and graduated from Lakin High School's class of 2003. Robert's passion for capturing the beauty of everyday moments led him to a fulfilling career as a freelance photographer. In addition to his photography, Robert was a talented artist, known for his handcrafted figurines and candles. Robert's interests extended beyond his artistic endeavors; he was a man who cherished the simple pleasure of spending time with family and friends. He loved to travel and loved music, he enjoyed going to his favorite singers concerts and was an avid Raiders fan. His humorous and joking nature was the heartbeat of gatherings, and his ability to spin a tale or crack a joke ensured that laughter was never in short supply. His generous nature and artistic spirit brightened the lives of all who knew him.
Survivors include his Siblings- Federico Aparicio Lakin, KS, Gerardo Aparicio Lakin, KS, Veronica Aparicio Oxnard, CA, Jose Antonio Aparicio Lakin, KS Claudia Aparicio Oxnard, CA, Jesus Aparicio Lakin, KS, Alonso Aparicio Lakin, KS, Blanca Aparicio Lakin, KS, Norma Aparicio Oxnard, CA, Armando Aparicio Lakin, KS, Maria Aparicio Oxnard, CA, & Cristian Aparicio Lakin, KS; his fur babies-Chico, Chica & Tiny & numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins. He was preceded in death by his Parents- Maria Del Socorro and Jesus Aparicio Sr.
Visitation will be held 11:00 am- 8:00 pm Thursday June 13, 2024 at Garnand Funeral Home of Lakin. A Rosary will be held 11:00 am Friday June 14, 2024 followed by a Funeral Mass at St Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lakin Cemetery.
