Robert Lee "Bob" Bachman, 81

January 29, 2026

Robert Lee "Bob" Bachman, 81, of Lititz, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at his home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Robert and Jean Badorf Bachman. Bob was the loving husband of Cecilia "Ceil" Seubert Bachman and on November 14, 1964, they were married and spent the next 61 years together. He was a 1962 graduate of Warwick High School where he played on both the basketball and football teams. His love for sports didn't stop there. Watching Warwick sports was a passion of Bob's that followed him through life. He even joined the softball team of Warner Lambert, which later became Pfizer, where he worked for over 40 years in Quality Control.

Bob enjoyed the simple acts of life. Fishing along streams in Sullivan County with his cousins and uncle or sitting on the back porch gazing at the birds pecking at the birdfeeders. Many days were spent in his garden, tending to vegetables and flowers and enjoying the fruits of his hard-earned labor.

Bob took great pride in his family, as the patriarch. Standing on the sidelines of his grandsons' sporting events, attending car shows with his neighbor and son-in-law, and becoming a great grandfather, were some of the most cherished moments of Bob's life. He was a people person who would sit with his neighbors and listen to the soothing sound of his favorite tunes, oldies being his favorite. His meticulous personality and wittiness will be missed by all. His sense of humor was always enjoyed by those who were in his company. In the morning he could be found in the companionship of High School classmates reuniting for breakfast. Speaking of food, Bob loved the Newswanger's Sausage Sandwich from Green Dragon which he enjoyed on a regular basis.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Cecilia, are two daughters, Cheryl Clarke (William) and Deborah Bachman (Maurice), Grandsons, Davon Taylor (Kayci), Desmond Taylor (Ella), Demarcus Taylor, and a great-granddaughter, Millie Taylor. Preceding him in passing was a sister, Donna (Bachman) Peters.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service for Bob at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 17543 on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM. There will be a time of viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be in Akron Lutheran Cemetery. Those desiring may send memorial contributions in Bob's memory to PA Wounded Warriors.
