Robert Baeza Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals Inc. on Oct. 9, 2025.
Robert L. Baeza, 34, known affectionately as Bobby to his friends and family, passed away on August 7, 2025,. Born on August 6, 1991, in Long Branch, raised in Keansburg before moving to Belford in 2011. Bobby's zest for life and his kind-hearted nature touched everyone he met throughout his journey.
Bobby was the cherished son of Robert and Nancy Baeza, and a loving father to his son, Brody Baeza. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his parents, his young son, and his extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom will forever remember his warm smile and generous spirit.
From a young age, Bobby was a beacon of energy and athleticism. He dedicated four years to running cross country; he was an avid basketball player and took an interest in fencing.
Professionally, Bobby was a respected laborer for Local 829.
Beyond his professional life, Bobby had a profound appreciation for the outdoors. He found joy in landscaping, The racetrack was another of Bobby's favorite pastimes.
Music, especially rap, was a passion that Bobby carried close to his heart. It was not uncommon to find him sharing his latest playlist. Yet, above all, it was the time spent with his family and friends that Bobby treasured most. His ability to make every gathering memorable, whether through his storytelling, his infectious laughter, or his thoughtful advice, will be deeply missed.
Bobby's impact on those around him was profound, and his memory will continue to inspire us all. As we say goodbye to Bobby, we celebrate the time we had with him and the countless memories we shared. His spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, October 12th, from 4-8pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. On Monday there will be a 9:30 AM Mass at St. Catherine's Church, Middletown. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donation to Hazlet Hopes at www.hazletshopenetwork.site
