Robert Baker Obituary

Robert is survived by his children, Amy (Bob) Donofrio, Brian (Christine) Weatherford, Bobby (Holly) Baker Jr., and Justen (Wendy) Baker; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a brother, Gerald Baker Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Margaret Baker; wife, Sandra Baker; and sister, Linda Baker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine.

Uncle Bob has left the building! He´s not my uncle, he was my brother-in-law, but I´m saying this because it would make him laugh as some of my fond memories of him are his laughing and his passion for music. He was born with a natural vocal talent, and entertained our family with it throughout the years. Our favorites were "born to be wild, "and amazing grace, which he sang at my mother`s funeral. It was beautiful. I am so happy that my sister, Sandy, found the love of her life in Bob. They created a beautiful family together and my hope is that they are again together and will live in eternal peace forever. We will miss you, Bob.
