Robert “Bobby” Barlow was born in Hart County, Kentucky, to the late Clearance and Ola-Kate Barlow. He was a member of a large and loving family, growing up alongside his 11 siblings: Eugene, Helen, Charles, Jerry, Charlene, Shirley, and the late Willie, Rachel, J.P., R.P., and G.P.
Bobby was the father of two children, Stacey Wilson and Cynthia Davidson (deceased). He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will miss him deeply.
For more than 20 years, Bobby was a faithful and devoted member of Eastern Star Baptist Church. His love for the church and its community was evident through his unwavering support for the ministry and the spread of God’s Word. Known as a brother to many, he was always ready to lend a hand, offer encouragement, and support anyone in need. The love shared between Bobby, his Pastor, and the entire Church Membership was truly special.
Bobby embodied the spirit of service, living by the words of Galatians 5:13 (NIV): “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” His legacy of kindness, humility, and faith will continue to inspire all who knew him, reminding us of the importance of serving others.
He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his dedication, and the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him.
