Robert Kenneth Barone, lovingly known as Bobby-or Bob-to family and friends, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, entered the Church Triumphant on October 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on February 26, 1955, in Bayonne, New Jersey, to the late Bruno James and Lorraine Grace Barone. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Albert Joseph Barone, and his brother-in-law, Jack Donnelly.
Bobby is survived by his devoted wife, June Ann; his daughter, Beverly Barone-Folts; his son, Robert Barone, Jr., and daughter-in-love, Karlie Barone. He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Alexander Folts, Adam Folts and his wife Chelsea, and Jacob Folts; as well as his beloved great-granddaughter, Skyla Folts, who brought a special light into his life.
He is also survived by his brother, Raymond Barone; his sister, Carmella Barone-Donnelly; his niece, Kimberly Kocian (Brian) and family; and his nephew, Christopher Barone (Amanda) and family. Additionally, he leaves behind a host of extended family members and dear friends who will miss Bob deeply.
A proud graduate of Bellaire High School, Class of 1974, Bobby lived a life defined by dedication and hard work. He began his professional journey at Robert Reed Engineering and later joined Gullett & Associates, where he worked faithfully for over 35 years. His integrity, skill, and steady work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
Bob was a man of deep and enduring faith and was actively involved in the many churches he attended, from running the sound boards to serving as head usher, and always being a faithful friend and member of the community. In the last church he attended, he formed many close and lasting friendships. His faith guided his actions and shaped his loving spirit.
He was also known for his warmth, humor, and generosity. Bobby was an extremely gifted artist, whose creativity and talent shone through in every piece he touched. He also loved building and painting models and enjoyed many hobbies, reflecting his curiosity, patience, and joy for life. Whether sketching, painting, or crafting, he brought beauty, imagination, and heart into everything he did and inspired those around him. He also loved eating late-night popcorn while watching countless movies and TV shows, sharing simple moments of joy and relaxation.
One of Bobby's greatest joys was spending time with his loyal dog, Penny. The two were inseparable, especially during their visits to the dog park, where Bob formed many lifelong friendships. Those moments-filled with laughter, companionship, and simple happiness-reflected the heart of who he was: someone who cherished connection and made others feel like family. He also had a special place in his heart for animals throughout his life, including his beloved bird, Paco.
Bobby's life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his love a guiding light that will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:23
