Sherry:
I was very sad to hear of Bob´s passing. You and Bob were a highlight of joining the Battalini/DeBartolo family. I remember feeling nervous at the first family gathering I went to, not knowing anyone yet, but you and Bob made me feel so welcome. Your family´s joy and appreciation for life were contagious and I will always cherish those memories. Sherry, I wish you peace, love and blessings from above. Bob will be with you in spirit and I will be thinking of you both.
Love,
Sharon (& Mike) Del Prete

Bob came on Nikki and I´s community connections zoom during E-learning (awful times Nikki would know) to talk about his experiences at a architecture tour guide in Chicago. It was one of the coolest things I remember from those times and something I will never forget. I always wanted to go on his tour and will be something I will appreciate forever hm willing to come and talk to us about his passion. His way of speaking and specifically his accent pulled me in the whole time her talked.

Bob was the dad I never had. The Battalinis took me under their wings as a 5 year old nerdy kiddo friend of Lara's and raised me as their own. I'm a better, quirkier and more boisterous gal for having been in his (and their) presence. I'm torn up over this news. There's never enough time with the people you love. I have too many memories to note...Peace, Robert J. Peace. - Jean Autry, Dzien Dobry. love always, Caca.

I´m so saddened to learn about Bob´s passing. I remember him from childhood when my dad was also a police officer and when I used to babysit their daughters. We extend our love and condolences to Sherry and the entire family. I know my dad and brother are together in heaven with him.
