Robert M. "Bobby" Bauer, 92, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Merle (née Weissman) for 48 wonderful years; loving father of Myles (Cynthia), Neil (Sandi), and Robyn Bauer; cherished grandpa of Raeanna (Michael) Williams, Samuel (Megan) Bauer, Alexis Bauer, Matthew (Jenna) Bauer, and Joey (Sarah) Bauer; treasured great grandpa to Madison Williams, Dean Bauer, Brody Bauer, and Jones Bauer. Much-loved brother of Michael (Judy) Bauer and the late Edmund Bauer; adored uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many. Robert was quick-witted, sharp, and known for his dry sense of humor. In his 50s, he discovered a remarkable talent for art, excelling in painting and charcoal drawing - he truly had a gift. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War as a cook and, following his honorable discharge, worked in retail. Robert had a deep love for classical music, the Beatles, and a good game of poker. He was actively involved with Jewish Young Adults Encounter, Jewish Marriage Encounter and traveled throughout the United States with his adored wife. Robert was preceded in death by his adored parents Meyer "Popp" Bauer and Molly Bauer (nee' Goldsmith). Robert will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
