Robert Bear Obituary

A native of Luray, Virginia, he is the son of the late Robert Edward Jr. and Doris Marion Black Bear. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Bear in 2023.
Robert enjoyed his bicycle and loved nothing more than riding. He rode several miles a day when his health allowed. Robert went so far as to ride his bike on a long trail in the Rocky Mountains when he was younger. He was great with jokes and wit and was a lot of fun to be around. His wife, Bobbie was his whole world and when she passed away it was extremely hard on him. He loved the Moody Blues Band and woodworking. He could build just about anything out of wood. He was the absolute best cheesecake maker around. Every family function or special occasion, he was asked to make his cheesecakes. He was a great grandfather and friend and will be forever missed.
Other survivors include one grandson, Brad (Laura) Meyerring and two great grandchildren, Alex and Lucas.
