It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lisa Chastang, who left this world on August 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home. Lisa was a cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Lisa was married to David Chastang. Lisa was the daughter of Joan Mull (Rich) and step-father, David Griepsma (Karen). Lisa was the mother of David Jr., Keith, and Nicole. Lisa was a sister to Mike, Tricia, Davelle, Andy, and Jared. She was predeceased her father, Edward Courneen.

Born on February 27, 1967 in Canandaigua, NY, Lisa grew up in Bloomfield, where she developed a deep appreciation for family and community. Her spirit was one of selflessness, always putting the needs of others before her own. This unwavering dedication to her loved ones was a hallmark of her character, and it is a legacy that will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Lisa's journey took a beautiful turn when she and her daughter fell in love with Tennessee during a memorable vacation they took. About 9 years ago, they made the decision to move there, where David built Lisa her dream home-a tribute to their lasting love and partnership. Lisa was a creative and artistic soul, bringing joy, and delight to her family and friends. Her love for her family was endless, and she dedicated her life to nurturing and caring for them, creating a warm and loving environment that will be always be remembered.

Lisa Chastang will be deeply missed, but her legacy of devotion, kindness, and selflessness will continue to uplift all who were fortunate enough to know her, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave. Lisa's most cherished role was that of a mother and wife. Lisa gave all for her husband, her two sons, and her daughter, dedicating herself to supporting them in every way possible. Her love for her children and husband was boundless, and she created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.

Lisa faced her battle with cancer with courage and grace, inspiring all who witnessed her strength. Her determination in the face of adversity was a testament to her character, leaving a lasting impact on her family and friends. The sadness felt in her absence is immeasurable, and her legacy of love will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.

In honor of Lisa, a future celebration of life will take place in West Bloomfield, New York, allowing friends and family to gather and remember Lisa, where her spirit will be celebrated. Date to follow.
