Robert Beedy Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Acres West Funeral Chapel and Crematory - West Odessa on Mar. 26, 2024.
Robbie (Robert) Gene Beedy decided to cross the bridge to heaven on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in Odessa Texas. He was born on Tuesday, October 5, 1971, in Odessa,TX and was 52 when he left.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Charles McCraw, Dad, J.C. Bronaugh, and his fur babies, Lennox, Buddy, and Sugar Bear.
He is survived by his son Chase Allen Beedy of Abilene, TX, his parents, momma Toni Beedy Bronaugh, his dad, Donnie Gene Beedy, His sister, Rashel Stamps, his favorite niece, Randi Brown, and nephew, Taylor Stamps. His favorite Aunt Tresia Kay Newbrough Coleman, and Uncle Johnny Hembree of Odessa, Tx; his aunt Kay (Katie) and Uncle Ricky McCormick of Lone Wolf, OK, nephews, Ryan and Ryder McCraw and sister-in-law, Llubia Estella Bustillos, of Odessa, TX. His favorite cousin, Tracie West Newbrough, husband Mike Little, niece, Destiny, nephew, Lance of Odessa, TX, his favorite cousin, Shane and wife Shandy Newbrough and nephews and niece of White Settlement, TX.
Robbie loved playing guitar and jammed to Metallica, Ozzy, Slayer, AC/DC, and Korn. Robbie in his younger years was full of dynamite and so funny. He was a Golden Glove Boxing Champion and could throw his hands. He didn't take crap for no one back then. He would crack us all up with his funny jokes and impressions. He would help anyone if he was able. He was sober since March 2023; he had severe depression though and couldn't come out of it, no matter how hard we tried. Robbie always had a smile on his face that shined as bright as his heart of gold; he could bring laughter to any room he walked into. He taught his nephews to wear cologne to smell good for all the women.
Robbie will be truly greatly missed by his family and friends. He loved with all his heart and soul everyone close to him. He loved horror movies and music.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Pastor Tim of Refuge Ministries for baptizing Robbie, his cousin, Tracie West Newbrough for always helping him online job applications and being there for him anytime he needed her help. His aunt Tresia and uncle Johnny, for providing shelter for him nearly a year, with feeding him and just taking care of his needs. Also, a special thanks to his sister Rashel Stamps for providing shelter, food and taking care of his needs for 2 years.
Robbie was a momma's boy who he loved with all his heart and soul, taking her to eat and movies he loved. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends that love him. R.I.P. my son.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm-9:00 pm, Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Acres West Funeral Chapel and services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 beginning at 2:00 pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel.
