Robert D. Beeson

Robert Dale Beeson, age 68, of Burnsville, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025. Born on March 13, 1957, in Breckenridge, Minnesota, Rob grew up with a deep love for family, sports, and the outdoors. A proud graduate of Moorhead State University, he was an All-American track and cross-country athlete and earned his bachelor's degree there.

Rob built a respected and varied career as an accomplished accountant, successful salesman, and small business owner, admired for his integrity, work ethic, and ability to connect with people. Beyond his professional achievements, he was a passionate coach and mentor who influenced countless young athletes. Among his many accomplishments, Rob led his soccer teams to victory in the 2004 Minnesota State Cup Championship and the USA Cup Championship.

Rob's greatest joy came from his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Jan Beeson; daughter Brittany Beeson; son Brady Beeson (Vanessa); and Isaiah Hall. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Jack, Addy, Kallum, Rhyen, Bodhi and Cooper. Rob is also survived by his brothers Larry (Donna) and Craig Beeson, Sister-in-law Wendy Willett (Tom), and brother-in-law Paul Thorwaldsen (Cindy). Finally, nieces and nephews Becky, Ricky, Joanna, Michael, Todd and Brett Beeson, Robert Thorwaldsen and Tom and Jim Willett. He was preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Ruth Beeson, his brother Brant Beeson (Paulette), and his parents-in-law Robert and Charlotte Thorwaldsen.

Rob's passions were simple yet profound-his grandkids, coaching, running and fishing. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, successful professional, and a mentor to so many whose lives he touched.

A visitation (wake) will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home in Apple Valley, Minnesota. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Rob's legacy of love, laughter, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
