Robert Bernard Bejma, age 95, of Joelton, Tennessee, died Monday, June 9, 2025, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock pm, Sunday, June 15th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Stan Woodall and Tamara Pace officiating.
Burial will follow in Mallory's Church Cemetery in Chapmansboro with Roman Baltazar, Lazaro Guzman, Pascual Baltazar, Juan Cordoba, Brian Scruggs, and Francisco Baltazar serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 10:00AM until the hour of service at 2:00PM.
Mr. Robert was born on September 8, 1929, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Stanley & Irene Buczynski Bejma. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired after 20 years with the City of South Bend. He also served as Chief of Police and for the Tennessee Department of Corrections in Ashland City. He loved helping on the farm with his son and amigos. Mr. Robert was a man of faith and service and was always helping friends and family when called upon. He was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Morris Bejma; daughter, Brenda Bejma; brothers, Eugene Bejma and Bernard Bejma; and sisters, Mary Jane Stopczynski, Patricia Ann Howard, & Barbara Bejma.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Misty K.) Bejma; grandchildren, Kyle (Misty D.) Bejma and Julianna Kiggans (James); and great-grandchildren, Oliver Bejma and Owen Bejma.
