Robert Kevin Belanger

Lee, NH - Robert Kevin Belanger died peacefully at his home in Lee, NH on July 19, 2025. He was born July 15, 1958 in Waterville, Maine to Leota McChesney and Robert Joseph Belanger. Rob, as he was known to his friends and family, grew up in Maine and New Hampshire. He enjoyed playing little league baseball and riding his bike around town. He spent his teen years in Waterville, Maine, and graduated from Messalonskee High School. He studied art at the University of Maine, Augusta, and took some basic business classes at Northern Essex University. After his schooling he became a carpenter, which he enjoyed very much. He worked on many homes in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, working for local contractors and even on his own with his brother, Bryan. In his spare time he enjoyed making children's wooden toys, and he eventually made many row boats in his garage. He had to retire early because of health reasons. In the later years of his life, Rob spent many hours working with his good friend Chad Bradbury, helping him with carpentry work at Chad's home. Chad was a good and kind friend to Rob. He is survived by his brother Bryan Belanger, and his sisters Cheryl Belanger, Vickie Belanger, Renee Adams, and Wendi Belanger, his daughter Jennifer Wallace and husband Kirk Wallace, his daughter Emily Belanger and husband Gary Ashcroft, his daughter Kelsie Belanger and husband Zachary Bello, and his son Wade Belanger and wife Stephanie Stockwell. In addition, he will be missed by his five grandchildren Sophia, Garrick, Daniel, Lydia and Vivenne Wallace and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at Andrew Jarvis Drive (Across from the Greek Orthodox Church), in Portsmouth, NH 03801 on Saturday August 2nd from 10–12. A burial at the Lee Hill Cemetery in Lee, NH will be held at a later date.
