Robert Bennett Jr.

Robert “Rob” Howard Bennett Jr., age 68 of Montello passed away Monday, November 4, 2024 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. Rob was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan in 1956 to Robert and Nancy (Frazier) Bennett. He moved several times in his youth and graduated from Wisconsin Dells High School in 1974. Rob proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marines. Rob married Julie Crawford on his birthday in 1992 in Montello.

Rob had an extremely strong work ethic. He was employed as a maintenance technician at Rayovac for 30 years and St. Gobain for 15 years before retiring in 2021. Rob was one of those gifted people who could fix anything. He loved animals, enjoyed restoring classic cars, going to car shows and was always willing to help others. He was such a great friend to many, especially his wife, to know Rob was to love him, he will be greatly missed.

Rob is survived by his wife of 32 years, Julie along with many special friends and other extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as Julie’s parents.

A Celebration of Rob’s Life will be held at his favorite spot in the summer of 2025.
