Robert John "Bobby" Bloomer

Robert John "Bobby" Bloomer, 60 years old of Platte County MO, died October 16, 2025, at NKC Hospital. Bobby suffered a catastrophic brain bleed from a fall and passed away surrounded by his loved ones. Bobby was born January 9, 1965, to Robert Bloomer and Sharon Clinton-Bloomer in Jackson County MO. He graduated from Park Hill High School Class of 1984. Bobby was always busy whether he was outside on a mower or inside making oatmeal scotchie cookies.
Bobby is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Lester Clinton and Naomi Moffis-Clinton and paternal grandparents, Scott Bloomer and Hazel Ball-Bennett. Uncles & aunts Jack Clinton (Charlene Ayers-Clinton), JR Clinton, Carol Clinton Wallace. He is survived by his parents Robert and Sharon Bloomer, brother Lester Bloomer (Carole Bloomer), sister Rebecca Woodruff (Tim Woodruff), Beloved Ole Lady Susan Gutherie, adopted son Dylan Gutherie. All his nephews and nieces; Zachary Zwonitzer, Joshua Zwonitzer, Jacob Bloomer, Jessica Bloomer, Timothy Woodruff Jr, and Sarah Woodruff.
In lieu of a formal service we will be holding a Celebration of Life for Bobby TBD by the family. Bobby will be cremated. Anyone wanting to make a donation the family would appreciate those going to the American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org), National Multiple Sclerosis Society (nationalmssociety.org), and/or the Brain Injury Association of Kansas & Greater Kansas City (BIAKS-GKC).
