Robert Allison Bly of
Decatur, GA, passed away on March 21, 2023. He was born on September 24, 1964, in
Coral Gables, Florida, to parents Allan and Carolyn Bly. He attended Oxford at Emory, where he played soccer, graduated from Florida Southern College with a bachelor's degree in financial management, and moved to Atlanta, where he married Gina Joiner in 1994. He was a trivia pro, the best handyman, and an unwavering Miami Dolphins fan (Dolfan). He was known for his long and entertaining storytelling, his intentionality with relationships, his ability to listen, and his big hugs.
Robert is survived by his three daughters, Lucy, Charlye Ruth, and Annie; his father, Allan; former wife, Gina; his sister-in-law, Becky; and his aunt, Ruta. He is preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn; brother, Richard; and uncle, Bob.
