Born on December 23,1955, in Brockport, New York, Bob was the son of the late Robert Lee Bale and Deloris (Lenz) Bale. He had a passion for collecting antiques and he also loved music and playing guitar. Bob shared his love of music as a member of a band. He dedicated over 50 years in the autobody industry, where he was known by fellow coworkers as “Biscuit.” He was a natural teacher, and those who learned from him carried his influence throughout their own work. Above all, Bob cherished the time he spent with his friends and loved ones.
He is survived by his wife, Nadine Bale of Columbia, daughters, Sheri Bale of New York, Brianna Bale of New York, Melissa Kaltenbach of New York, son, Lewis Platner of Columbia, sister, Sharon (Bob) Thomas, eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Bale.
