Robert "Bob" G. Borgia

Robert "Bob" G. Borgia, 86, of Palmerton, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Above and Beyond Nursing Home in Allentown, PA. Born July 19, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel Borgia and the late Iona (Jones) Borgia. Robert was the husband of Jeanne (Shiffler) Borgia, with whom he shared 57 loving years of marriage.

Bob was employed by the Sheet Metal Workers, Union Local 19, specializing in roofing and copper. He retired in 1999 after working for 30 years, but stayed active in the Union, always helping where he could. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, of Palmerton, and the Palmerton Historical Society, being known for painting/restoring the park gazebo and the Little White Church. In his free time, Bob enjoyed hunting, roller skating, and was an avid poker player.

Surviving along with his wife, daughters, Jeanne A., Maureen J. and Audrey and husband Peter, brother, John Borgia and wife Sandy, granddaughters Sarah E. Billman, Brittney J. and Danielle P. Scott, brother in law Charles Schneider. He was predeceased by brothers, Samuel and Thomas, sisters Ramona, and Patricia, and son-in-law, Robert Scott.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday March 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Palmerton, PA, 18071. Interment will be private.
