William Bloom Obituary
William "Bill" A. Bloom, 87, of Fairyland Road, Lehighton, Franklin Twp., PA, died early Saturday morning, February 21, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton. He was the husband of the late Jean P. (Haupt) Bloom who passed in 2018. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late George and Mabel (Kressley) Bloom.
Bill was employed by the former NJ Zinc Co., West Plant, Palmerton, in the packing dept for 38 years. He was a social member of the American Legion, Lehighton Post, and the Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club, Lehighton.
Survivors: Daughter, Kimberly A. wife of John Kanas of Catawissa, Columbia County. Sons, Randall W. and wife Susan, Todd R., Ryan and fiancée, Louisa Krause, all of Lehighton, and Shawn and wife Sarah of Palmerton. 3 grandchildren, Amber, Tyler, and Jocelyn. 2 great grandchildren. Sister, Donna wife of Donald Getz of Lehighton. Brother, Richard and wife Donna of Lehighton. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Donald and Nevin.
