Robert Doman

Robert "Bob" Doman, 93, of Oakmont, passed peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025. He was the son of the late Elizabeth and John Doman. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (Kirchner) Doman, who preceded Bob in death in 2017. Loving father of Gabriel (Kelly) Doman and Gayle Murphy. Pappy of Paul, Jeff, and Steve. Brother of Fred (late Carol) Doman, the late John (late Theresa) Doman, and the late Betty (late Bob) Semler. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bob was a proud Purple Heart-decorated Korean War Army veteran. He was a longtime member of the local American Legion and VFW. He retired as a truck driver from Yellow Freight. He deeply missed his wife, Patricia, during the last eight years of his life, and now they are reunited again. Friends and family were received from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at Holy Family Parish - St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Oakmont. Interment with military honors to follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
