Robert "Bob" Jackley, died on July 24, 2025, at the age of 52, during a motorcycle test drive for Harley Davidson. Born on May 21, 1973, in Viroqua, WI, Bob grew up on the family farm, where he developed a love for the outdoors, spending countless hours alongside his cousins and his sisters, Sue and Niki. He found more joy in life on the farm than in school, but he graduated from North Crawford High School in Soldiers Grove, WI, in 1991.
Bob had a full life filled with love and adventure. He was married to Sharlotte and together they had two wonderful children, Robert and Hunter. They later divorced. On October 16, 2010 he married his soul mate Amy, in Lanesboro, MN. Together, they made a beautiful blended family, embracing Amy's three children; Abbey, Derrick, and Dustyn and later, welcoming their own two, Jace and Ava. Bob's love and devotion as a father were unparalleled; he was always there for his kids, with a smile on his face and a story to share.
Bob's career path was diverse, but his role as an advanced service technician at Harley-Davidson was most fitting for his mechanical talents and his thirst for knowledge. He was known for his long beard and curly hair, and he could often be found enjoying a cold Hamm's beer, sharing stories, and making everyone around him laugh with his goofy sense of humor.
As a devoted Green Bay Packers fan, he always looked forward to game days and loved the camaraderie it brought. Bob had a heart of gold and was the kind of person you could count on in any situation. When in doubt, friends would often say, "Just do what Bob would do." His kindness and willingness to help anyone in need were hallmarks of his character.
He is survived by his beloved wife Amy; children, Abbey (Ken), Derrick, Robert, Hunter, Dustyn, Jace, Ava; grandchildren, Kenny, Klaus; mother, Mary (Scott) Hanson; father, Robert Jackley Sr.; siblings, Sue, Niki, Chris, Darci; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 4th at 12 p.m. at Back Home Harley-Davidson, 7180 US-14, Rochester, MN 55904. An open house style, celebration of life will follow the memorial service from 1p.m. - 5p.m.
