Robert A. Price, Sr., 83, of Dennison, passed away June 27, 2025 at Sunny Slope Nursing Home following a period of declining health.

Born October 6, 1941, in Massillon, he was a son of the late Vernon and Margaret (Lab) Price.

Bob retired from General Telephone Company where he began as a lineman and retired as a Technical Instructor. He was a member of Roxford Church. Bob was also active in the Schoenbrunn Valley Barbershop Chorus where he sang with the “Faithful Four” Quartet.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon (Proudfit) whom he married on July 3, 1975; children, Dr. Robert (Valerie) Price, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, Kathleen Wolfe, Deborah (Robert) Fettes, William Price, and Cindy Price all of Cambridge; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Martin (Diane) Price; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in passing by his brothers, Calvin “Rocky” Price, Arthur Price, and James Price; sisters, Margaret Bates, and Wilda Leeper; and grandson, Rob Houston.

The family will greet guests on Monday, June 30, 2025 from 9:30 to 11:30AM in Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory at New Philadelphia. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:30 AM. An inurnment will be held at a later date in Roxford Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Bob’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or Roxford Church 771 Roxford Church Rd SE, Dennison, OH 44621.
