90, of Taunton, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Biagio and Emilia (Cipolla) Schettini. 

He is survived by his loving children, Chrissie Schettini, Karen Curbelo, and John Reed; cherished grandchildren Jose, Jason and Jeremy Curbelo, Kai O’Donnell, Emilia Rose Rodriguez and great granddaughter Riley Curbelo. He was the brother of the late Joseph Schettini, Olga Corrente, Arthur Schettini, Alfred Schettini, and William Schettini. He also leaves many beloved nieces and nephews.

Bob served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War era. He worked in Sales for many years before his retirement. Bob enjoyed life to the fullest traveling, being with friends, and celebrating all special occasions. He was an avid poker player, affectionately known in the casinos as ‘Jiminy Cricket’ because he would always bring to the table a lucky figurine that was given to him by his daughter. He was a true Italian who enjoyed food, music, playing the piano, and spending time with family. He will be very missed, and fondly remembered. 

Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday, December 20th at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Kevin’s Church, Warwick. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday, December 19th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
