Dr. Lasher was not only my advisor, but my history teacher for my history classes. He had a funny, dry sense of humor, and taught me to think critically. It was such a joy to see him as he courted and then married his lovely wife Marie. He was instrumental in my doing a double major in History & Paralegal studies, as I wanted to get my masters in international law & history.
Have a wonderful trip, wherever you are, Dr. Lasher.

My deepest condolences to Dr. Lasher's family. I was a student of his at Notre Dame College. I always looked forward to his classes. He gladly gave me a letter of recommendation when I started my quest to becoming a history teacher. Rest in Peace Dr. Lasher.

Dr. Lasher was the best. He was my college advisor for all 4 years at NDC. We spent many hours in his office chatting about history and life. He was the reason I got a minor in History to go with my Paralegal degree. He was truly a gem! Sending condolences to his family!

So sorry to hear of this. He was one of my favorite professors at NDC. I would sit in his office for hours discussing history and philosophy. He had a dry sense of humor and a kind and gentle spirit. Always ready to give counsel and to hear about your day. Deepest sympathy to his family.
