Robert Edward Staudacher our loving, strong-willed father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at the age of 76. He was born on February 24, 1948 in Bay City, Michigan. Bob was the oldest of four children to the late Edward and Jacqueline (Hayward) Staudacher. Bob graduated from T.L. Handy in 1966, while in high school he worked at Hammerbacher Gas Station. The restaurant next door, is where he met the love of his life, the former Rosalie Ann Hoffman. They built a deep and enduring bond, cherishing every moment with one another. They enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling up north to the family cabin in Vanderbilt to spend time together. Bob then began his career at Saginaw Steering Gear and retired in 2006. After 27 years of marriage, Bob unexpectedly lost the love of his life in 1996. Bob later found Suzanne Laatsch and they married in 2003.

Bob was an amazing man to take on 3 step children at the age of 21 and shortly after had a daughter of his own Tami Lee. Bob was best known for his cooking and baking, he would show up at your door step with who knows whatever he decided to make in his kitchen to show you that he loved and cared about you. He loved to bake and cook a variety of food and treats. His kitchen was his place to relax. He was a very giving and generous person that would go without for himself if that was needed and he would be completely happy with that. Most did not see that side of him because of his Staudacher Bullheaded stubbornness and did not want to display that side of him.

Bob will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Tami (Jon) Rajewski; cherished granddaughters, Rachel and Julia; fury partner in crime, Daisy; stepsons, Scott (Liz) Scheurs, Brant (Donna) Scheurs, Mike (Sarah) Laatsch; step grandchildren, Stephen, Grant, Staci, Jonie, Chad, Brandin; sister, Deborah (Ralph) Cole; brother, Gary (Joyce) Staudacher; nieces and nephews, Mandi, Christopher, Ryan (Kristen) and Amber; great grandchildren and many cousins and friends. Bob will be greeted by, Rosalie and Suzanne; parents, Edward and Jacqueline Staudacher; brother, Dick Staudacher; stepson, Tiger; step-grandson, Korey Scheurs; step-daughter-in-law, Kelli Scheurs; brother-in-law, Mike Laatsch; and sister-in-law, Lorie Mistura.

A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Phillip Baerwolf with interment following at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home and on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
