Robert "Bob" Bodway

Robert “Bob” Charles Bodway, age 97 of Menasha, WI passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Prairie Home Assisted Living, Menasha. He was born on March 19, 1928 in Menasha, WI, son of the late Albert Fahrenkrug and Clara (Ziegert) Bodway.

Bob was a proud US Navy veteran, serving on the USS Salamonie “Ole Sal” during World War II and was honorably discharged in February of 1949. He was the proud owner of Bob Bodway TV Sales and Service. From various locations, he sold Zenith TVs and stereos and serviced them. Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, classic country music, dancing, and taking walks.

Bob is survived by his children, Judi (Jeff) Collett, Dave (JoAnn) Bodway, Mike Bodway, Terri Leece, Becky Schoon, Pam (Randy) Mueller, and Bruce (Vicky) Bodway; his grandchildren, Sean Collett, Shannon (Matt) Flaten, Justina (Brandon) Carnahan, Holly (Josh) May, Tony Bodway, Dale Polar, Jessica Breski, Shiloh Schoon, Krystal (Ben) Oskey, Michaela (Jason) Hagenow, Jennifer (Kevin) Mooney, Joe (Kamilla) Mueller, Aleesha Mendez, and Nathan Bodway; his great-grandchildren, Samantha, Tatum, Selah, Penny, Toni-Marie, Clifford, Rhonda, Petyon, Piper, Trison James, Gavin, Owen, Addie, Kaden, Mason, Haddie, Riley, Randee, Luna, Tristan, Delaeni, Gabriella, and Tayven; his great-great-grandson, Miguel; his brother, Richard (Joyce) Bodway; his sisters-in-law, Millie Bodway, Sally Bodway, and Sue Bodway; as well as many other nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends, especially his best friend, Greg Lauer.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Kenneth, Norman, Norbert, Donald, and Raymond; his brothers-in-law, James, Richard, and Harry; his sisters-in-law, Janet Bodway, Joelle Bodway, Marie Bodway, Carol Pontow, Lucille Brunner, and Ollie Koehler; his son-in-law, Dennis Leece; his daughter-in-law, Wendy Bodway; and his great-grandson, Carter Hagenow.

Robert “Bob” Charles Bodway, age 97 of Menasha, WI passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025. A funeral visitation will be held for Bob from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 226 Washington St, Menasha, WI 54952 with a funeral service to follow at 12:30 PM. Services will be livestreamed by the church and can be found using the link below. Bob will be laid to rest at Resthaven Cemetery in Menasha, WI. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Neenah Animal Shelter or to St. Thomas Episcopal Church’s food pantry in honor of Bob’s generous spirit.
