Robert Body Obituary
On Friday, November 17, 2023, Robert Lee Body, 65, passed away in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born in Mark Tree, Arkansas, to Robert Body Sr. and Lucille West. Robert's career extended more than 40 years in the building sector, where as a committed home builder he left a lasting impression. In addition to being a talented professional, Robert loved his family and was very attached to them. He was known to be the life of the party at family get-togethers because of his cheerful disposition. To treasure his memory are his children, Absalom Crump, Jabari Crump, and Christopher Young all of Chicago, Illinois; his ex-wife, Jerline Body of Chicago; and his life companion, Clema Thompson of Muldrow, Oklahoma. Robert's daughter Sonja Body, Lucille West, and Robert Body Sr. preceded him in death. He leaves behind a moderate number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 1st, 2023, at the River Glenn Chapel, 1805 North A Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Cremation services are under the thoughtful direction of River Glenn Cremation and Funeral Services.
