A lifelong area resident, Bob grew up in Schenectady and graduated from Siena College. He served proudly in the United States Navy during Vietnam and was stationed in Iceland and Okinawa. Bob was honorably discharged in 1969 at the rank of Lieutenant.
On August 11, 1974 he was united in marriage to the love of his life Barbara A. Constantine. That union was blessed with 50 years of marriage and they made their home in Perth. Bob owned and operated Small Engine Repairs until his retirement. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and being home. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. Borkowski; two children, Stephen Borkowski and his wife Kimberly,and Thomas Borkowski and his wife Elizabeth; four grandchildren, Sean, Avery, Madelyn and Jacob.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11a.m. at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, with The Very Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis E.V. as celebrant. A calling hour will precede the Mass beginning at 10a.m. at the church.
Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery with Military Honors.

I am sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Certainly, he was a fine gentleman. He always took care of my equipment immediately when i was in need of repairs. & he knew, always, the proper diagnosis. A fine family the Borkowski's are.
