Robert Bosher Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 5, 2026.
Robert Wayne Bosher, age 78, of Red Lick, Texas, died on January 4, 2026 in a hospital in Mount Pleasant, Texas. He was born in Lancaster, Texas, on April 8, 1947. He was a faithful member of the First Church of Red Lick.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Cecil Eli and Willie Mae Krantz Bosher; three brothers, Marvin, Rayburn (Betty) and Roger; and three sisters, Linda Watson, Lolean Kirk (James), Mildred (RB) Barton.

He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Barbara Jean Evans Bosher; one sister, Wanda Ray (Jesse), one sister-in-law, Charlene Bosher; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. (too many to name)!

Despite some learning disabilities, Wayne had numerous jobs. He began working at a young age in a meatpacking plant, went on to be a stocker, handyman, and truck loader. He worked in a clothing factory in Dallas, Texas, where he met his wife; and a cheerleader supply in Cedar Hill, Texas. After moving to Texarkana, Texas, he went to work at the Red River Army Depot. He retired after 22 years from the depot.

Wayne loved having Chihuahuas for companions. His latest is lovingly called "Baby Girl"

Wayne took pride in his yard where he loved spending time on his riding lawnmower until for health reasons he had to turn it over to some wonderful neighbors who continue to keep the yard up for him. Many thanks to those gentlemen.

Barbie would like to send thanks to all who lifted her up in prayer and by showing her love and support.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Church Red Lick, P.O. Box 60, Nash, Texas 75569.

A memorial service will be held this Saturday, January 10, 2026 at First Church Red Lick with visitation at 2:00 P.M. and the service at 3:00 P.M.
