Robert "Red" W. Boudreau, a resident of Hallandale Beach, FL and formerly of Medford, MA, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025. Robert was born on May 25, 1937, in Boston, MA, one of six children of Charles and Catherine (Murphy) Boudreau.
Robert proudly served in the United States Army, stationed in Korea in the weapon infantry division. An experience that shaped his strength, resilience, and deep sense of responsibility. Following his service, he built a long and respected career as a sheet metal worker with Local 17, where he was known for his craftsmanship and loyalty to his trade.
Red is survived by his loving children, Robert and Kathy Boudreau, Renée and Steven Hurley, and Rachelle and Mark Klingler. He is also survived by his two sisters, Lorraine Fairfield and Dolly Boudreau, the last surviving siblings of the six Boudreau children. Red will be remembered with love by his grandchildren, Madison and Daniel Hurley, step-grandchildren, Thomas and Michael Hurley, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He remained forever grateful for the community and extended family he found at Angels on the Ocean, Seaside Senior Living, and his friends at GS Hallandale.
A lifelong sports fan, Red followed every New England team with enthusiasm. He cherished his physical therapy sessions and was a devoted car enthusiast who never missed an opportunity to talk shop about antique cars.
Red's steady presence, quiet humor, and dedication to his family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
