Robert Boyd Obituary
Robert M. Boyd, 86, a resident of Holbrook Road in Whitingham, VT passed away September 24, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. A lifelong resident of Whitingham, Robert was born on February 3, 1939 the son of the late Merton and Nina (Morse) Boyd attended local schools graduating from Whitingham High School. Robert worked as a lineman for New England Power Company for many years. He was a life member of the Western, Massachusetts Rod and Gun Club, was an avid deer hunter, enjoyed puttering around the farm and cutting fire wood and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Robert is survived by his wife Joanne (Willard) Boyd whom he married in Whitingham September 10, 1960, his children Glenn Boyd (Lynn) and Gregory Boyd and significant other Tracey, grandchildren Robert Boyd, Katie Taylor and Lillian Crast, great grandchildren Peter, Arya and Jonathan, siblings Flossi Crafts, and Donald and Marshall Boyd and many nieces, nephews and cousins. At the request of the family there are no formal funeral services at this time.
