Robert Joseph Brasfield, 43, of Jonesboro, departed this life into his Savior’s arms on January 1, 2026 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born in St. Charles, Illinois on October 29, 1982 to Gene and Mary Lou Brasfield.

A 2001 graduate of Jonesboro High School, Robert earned a scholarship enrolling him in the Heat, Air, and Refrigeration program at the ASU-Marked Tree campus. Robert attended Temple Baptist Church and was employed by Metro Appliances & More. Was known by many as “Mr. Fix It”. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and getting together with family and friends for backyard cookouts and holiday dinners. You would also find him at the table playing card games, board games, and working on all types of puzzles.

He was preceded in death by his father Gene Brasfield, maternal and paternal grandparents, and a great-niece.

Left to treasure his memory are his wife Amber Brasfield and stepson Daniel McIver of the home, his mother Mary Lou Brasfield and brother Adam Brasfield of Jonesboro, brother Rodney (Angela) Brasfield of Pocahontas, stepson Randy Taylor and in-laws Wesley and Gladys Taylor all of Trumann. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
