Robert Brody

Robert "Bob" Brody, age 89, of Shelton, CT, husband of Sylvia Brody, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford.
Bob was born in Bridgeport on December 23, 1935, the son of the late Alfred and Gertrude Brody.
He graduated from Milford High School in 1955 and served in the Army National Guard. He began working at Sikorsky Aircraft until his retirement in 1991. He later became a Driving Instructor for Gary Knepler Driving School and enjoyed teaching.
Bob was a quiet man who treasured family vacations, trips to Las Vegas and visits to local casinos. He loved watching TV, especially game shows and movies.
Robert is survived by his loving daughters, Linda Miller (her late husband Mark), Lara Sciongay (Jim), Michele Murray and his devoted grandchildren, Megan, Matthew (Greyci), Jake, Noah, Brayden and Chase.
He was predeceased by his sister, Reena Brody, of Milford.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Loyalty Cemetery, 172 Burroughs Road, Fairfield.
Family and friends are invited back to the home from 12:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford CT 06405. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Connecticut Hospice.
