Age 88, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 26, 2022, in the comfort of his home with his loving family at his side. Born on November. 4, 1933, in Elmira, to the late Howard M. & Olive Wallace Broock and was a graduate of Elmira Free Academy, class of 1952. Bob was proud of his military service in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Bob was employed by Clute Motor Company for 47 years in the Parts Department, retiring in 2003. He was a 50-year member of North Presbyterian Church and most recently was an active member of the Gillett Baptist Church. For many years he maintained the church sign with weekly messages. Bob enjoyed scouting, woodworking, photography, and camping. Most of all, Bob enjoyed time spent with his family, especially taking camping trips with his grandchildren. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Hazel Lyman Broock, Wellsburg; stepchildren, Louis Greene, Montoursville, PA; James (Diane) Greene, Lynda (Matthew) Harkness, and Joy (Joseph) Ames, all of Gillett, PA; grandchildren, Jessica (Manish) Kukreti, Elizabeth (Todd) Johnson, Jennifer (Zach) Stankiewicz, Emily Kenyon (Steven Rockwell), Jael (Ed) Klecha, Axel Greene, Robert Bones, and Marcy Bones; and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Caroline, Ian, Haylee, Beau, Emma, Kala, Theo, and Uma. He is also survived by sister-in-laws June Spencer and Glenda (Stephen) Spencer of Canton, PA, Kathy Brenchley of Colorado Springs, CO, and brother-in-law Wally (Becky Confer) Brenchley of Lancaster, PA; special niece Krista (Jay) Zimmerman of Lockport. NY, and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his first wife, Marjorie Mortimer Broock; brother, Howard (Lorraine) Broock; brothers-in-law John Brenchley and Joseph Spencer; and best friend Norman Spencer. Family and friends will be received at the Gillett Baptist Church, 33241 PA-14, Gillett, PA 16925 on Fri. July 8, 2022 between the hours of 1:00-2:00 PM. Military honors will be accorded Mr. Broock at 2:00 PM. Memorial services will immediately follow with his pastor and friend, Micky Cavanaugh officiating.
