Lee Roy Epperson

Lee Roy Epperson, age 79, of Millerton PA, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Born on July 15, 1946, in Tazewell, TN. The son of the late, Michael and Mildred Solimando, and father, Estil Epperson. He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Epperson, they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. He is survived by his children, Timothy Baker of Gillett, PA, Linda Cadek of Mosherville, PA, Roger (Susan) Baker of Rutherglen, VA, Diane Draper (Scott Fay) of Tioga, PA, Gregory Baker (Joe Myers) of Ovid, NY, Lisa (Adrian) Sprague of Millerton, PA, and Leslie (Cye) Hall of Mansfield, PA; his brothers, Gary Epperson, Michael Epperson; and sister, Joan Martin; his grandchildren, Jessie, Amos, Evan, Logan, Rachel, Ryan, Cara, Brooke, Ayden, Alexis, Mackenzie, Madison, Molli and Kyli, as well as several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Richard Baker; son-in-law, Franklin Cadek; brothers, Bobby Epperson, Dennis Epperson and Frankie Solimando. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather and great grandfather, whose greatest joy in life was his family. He built his life around those he loved, always putting them first and leading by example with strength, kindness, and unwavering support. He worked as a plumber for many years at A&P Plant and then Toshiba Display Devices where he retired. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Family and friends will be received at Caywood's Funeral Home & Gardens, 1126 Broadway Elmira/Southport, NY 14904, on Sunday, March 1, 2026, between the hours of 2-4 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 4:15 p.m. Burial will take place in Highland Cemetery, Elkland, PA on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 11 a.m.
