Dr. Robert Edward Brossman, DDS, MS age 86 of Wheeling, WV, died Tuesday July 15, 2025 in WVU Wheeling Hospital.
He was born January 2, 1939 in New Jersey; son of the late Philip Dawson "P.D." and Florence Brossman.
He served as a US Navy dentist from 1966-1969; he was an orthodontist in Wheeling, Catholic by faith; active in HAM Radio; an electronics hobbyist; involved in Wheeling District Dental Society; an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan and watched his boys through hockey; and first orthodontist class through WVU Dentistry.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife; Mary Cameron Brossman; son, Robert Brossman, and a brother Philip Brossman.
He is survived by three sons; Philip (Susan) Brossman of Wheeling, Michael (Nicole R.) Brossman of Grand Rapids, MI, Mark Brossman of Wheeling, six grandchildren; Robbie Brossman of CA, Matt Brossman of MA, Betsy Brossman of Netherlands, Michaela Brossman of MI, Ethan Brossman of MI, Aiden Brossman of MI, and a brother Mark (Sharon) Brossman of Palm City, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday July 24, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00pm until time of service at 6:00pm with Rev Margie Carr officiating at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory 1 Ridgecrest Rd Wheeling/Bethlehem.
Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.

My thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy to the Brossman Family in the passing of Bob. He was a good neighbor for many years. He very graciously permitted us an easement for our driveway. Then his patience when I had not one, but two, waterline breaks which affected his property. May he RIP
