M. Lucille Brossman, 97, formerly of Breinigsville, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024 in Orange, CT, where she resided near her family. She was the wife of the late William F. Brossman, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Homer W. and Esther M. (Hunsicker) Frey. She was a member of Jordan U.C.C., Allentown. After graduating from Allentown High School in 1945, and later from Hood College in Frederick, MD in 1949 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Child Education, she worked as a Kindergarten teacher in the Orange, CT school system, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Society of Decorative Painters in the Lehigh Valley and Pocono areas.
Survivors: sons William F. Brossman Jr of NJ, Scott Frey Brossman (Dora Edgerly, life partner) of Seymour, CT; daughter Barbara L. Armeno of Wolcott, CT; 6 Grandchildren: Jennifer, Kimberly, Katherine, Molly, William III, and Scott Jr. and 3 Greatgrandchildren: Hailey, Hannah and Lincoln. She was predeceased by her brothers Robert W. and Victor M.
Services will be held at Jordan U.C.C., 1837 Church Rd, Allentown, PA 18104, at 10:30 AM on Monday, November 18,2024. A calling period will begin at 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Womelsdorf Union Cemetery, Womelsdorf, PA.
