Robert W. Burchfield, 82, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

He is survived by his devoted children, Ricky Burchfield and wife Jackie, and Ginger Burchfield - Button and husband Bobby. Robert was a proud grandfather to Leah (and wife Layna), Jennifer (and husband Mike), Shannon (and husband Brandon), Shaine (and wife Mandy), Rhiannon (and husband Quen), and Frank III (and wife Devyn), Augie,Ian and Leah (and wife Layna). He leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews who brought him immense joy and pride.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruth "Mumsie" R. Burchfield, his son Frank Restivo Jr., and his siblings Ada-Mae Cleland, Lawrence Burchfield, Juanita Burchfield, George W. Burchfield Jr., and Blanchie Himel.

A man known for his hardworking spirit and sharp wit, Robert was never one to shy away from a challenge-or a good poker game. He was a dedicated husband, a loving father, and grandfather who could always be counted on for a laugh, a story, or a little mischief. His role as a family instigator brought humor and lightness to many gatherings, and his strong work ethic served as an example to his family that have followed in his footsteps.
