Born June 22, 1964, in Sumter. He was a son of the late Samuel H. Burchfield and the late Lucy E.M. Burchfield.
Surviving are three sons, Jason Mcleod, Ryan Hodge of Sumter, Kalen Hodge of Linwood, WA; two sisters, Sue Craver and Shelby Gardener (Michael); and two brothers, Jerry Burchfield (Tia) and Timmy Burchfield (Mickey) all of Sumter; numerous nieces and nephew; and his spouse Cheryl Burchfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Martha Riles.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 23, 2025, in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin Howell officiating.
Family will receive friends following the memorial service.
Memorials may be made to the Sumter United Ministries, 36 S. Artillery Drive, Sumter, SC 29150 or to the Sumter SPCA, 1140 S. Guignard Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.
