Funeral services for Mr. Ulysses Lee, aka Robert Burns, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 1 PM in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home, 617 East Jackson Street, Dublin. Reverend Dr. Christopher Watkins will officiate. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

Robert Burns was born on Tuesday, December 1,1953, in Savannah, Georgia.. He was born to the parentage of Ulysses Lee, Sr., and Susie Adams Lee. He was reared by his great uncle, Aleus Corbett, and great aunt, Doshia Moore Corbett. He was married to Theola Snell Burns.

Robert Burns departed this life on Thursday, February 12, 2026. He was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents, his wife, his great aunt and great uncle, three brothers, Melvin Bernard Lewis and James Jerome Lewis, and Henry Smith, and by his grandmother, Ellen Corbett Talton.

He leaves to mourn his passing a loving and devoted companion of nine years, Sandy Reid of Dublin, Georgia, three devoted sisters, Cynthia (Wallace) Lemons, of Dublin, Ruby (Adolf) Taylor of Akron, Ohio, and Beulah (Billy) Singleton of Dublin, two brothers, William E. (Lillie) Smith and Roger Corbett, both of Dublin, and a stepdaughter, Karen (Freddie) Womble of Cochran, two bonus brothers, Kalvin (Ann) McCloud and Freddie Blackshear, both of Dublin, three special granddaughters. La'Zoria Perry, Hailey Perry, and Za'Nyla Perry, all of Dublin, and the special nephew, Wallace "Walo" Lemons, II, and a host of other relatives and friends.
