Robert “Bob” Lawrence Burt, age 64, of Wheeler, Michigan, passed away on August 30, 2025, and went home to be with his Heavenly Father.

Bob was born in Saginaw, Michigan, on February 8, 1961, to the late George Lawrence Burt and Janet Elaine (Tester) Burt.

He was a man of many talents, known for his exceptional skills as a mechanic who had the unique ability to fix just about anything. As a true Jack of all trades, Bob brought a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to every project he undertook.

Throughout his life, Bob pursued various hobbies and interests that reflected his adventurous spirit. An avid outdoorsman, he had a passion for hunting and enjoyed the thrill of riding dirt bikes and participating in enduro racing. His love for music was evident in his collection of vintage stereos. Bob loved all his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carla Faye (Swarthout) Burt. He also leaves behind two brothers & one sister, and their spouses: Gregory and Mary Burt, Ryan and Terasa Burt, and Kristen and James Williams, along with numerous nieces and nephews who cherished their time with him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Lawrence Burt and Janet Elaine (Tester) Burt; and his nephew, Derek Burt.

In honor of Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a service.
