Robert 'Bobby' Buzzard, 74, of Brownstown, died at 12:04 p.m., Monday, August 11, 2025 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Liberty Christian Church, rural Brownstown with Clayton Richison officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery, rural Brownstown. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to Liberty Cemetery or Brownstown First Responders. Gieseking Funeral Home, Brownstown is assisting the family with arrangements.

Robert Neil Buzzard was born on Thursday, November 9, 1950 in Vandalia to John Neil and Marilyn (Goldsborough) Buzzard. He married Vicki Noling on March 8, 1986 in Brownstown. He was a member of Liberty Christian Church and the church board, Farm Bureau, Vandalia Moose Lodge, and was a past member of the FS Board.

Bob was a graduate of Brownstown High School, Class of 1968. He was a life-long farmer alongside his father, Neil and later with his son, Lance. Bob enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, sitting on the porch drinking coffee and watching his humming birds, traveling to the beach yearly and, of course, driving the countryside watching his crops grow.

In addition to his wife of over 39 years, Vicki of Brownstown, he is survived by; his son, Lance (Krystn) Buzzard of Brownstown; sister, Mary Ann Doehring of Brownstown; nieces and nephews, Kirk (Cindy) Doehring, Brent (Jill) Doehring, Shelley (Jeff) McDowell, Kathy (Andy) Moran and David Crone; and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by; his parents; brother, John Edward in infancy; mother and father-in-law, Bill and Marie Noling; sister-in-law, Janice Crone.
