Robert Campbell McMillan Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 27, 2024.
Bedford Robert "Bob" Campbell McMillan passed away on September 25th at the tender age of 81. Surviving open heart surgery, he ultimately succumbed a few days later to his medical conditions and joined the Lord in a place of joy and the end to his suffering. He is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Muriel, his two sons Seth Campbell and Robert Scott, and his very special grandson Azerie Taylor, or Zeke. Bob was the lone survivor of six siblings but had many wonderful nieces and nephews in the Worcester, MA area. He loved Bethany Covenant Church and the many friends he made there. He was also an active member of Granite State Ambassadors and Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes (OLLI), as he always valued learning and connecting with others. He also maintained relationships with his colleagues from his psychology practice of nearly 30 years at the Greenhouse Group in Manchester. This gentle, caring soul will be remembered for his love and quiet contributions to the world around him.

Bob often sent out humous emails to a large group of people and I was fortunate enough to be in that group. His emails were thoughtful and funny. We enjoyed many conversations/laughter after church services and I got to know Bob and Muriel better. I was so impressed with their service to Peace Corps, which is where I learned they had first met. It gives you an idea of the care and love that the McMillan's had for the world. I will miss Bob. RIP my friend - Kevin Moher
