Robert Anthony Caravelli, Esq. was born July 8, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri, first son of the late Dr. Anthony and Mrs. Olga (Grellner) Caravelli. He received his bachelor degree from LaSalle College (now LaSalle University) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1967. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Air Force, including a tour of duty in Thailand during the Vietnam War and attained the rank of Captain in the USAF. Subsequently he joined the Indiana Guard Reserve, retiring in 2006 as a Colonel. Following his service in the Air Force, he received a law degree at San Fernando Valley State College in California (now California State University Northridge), and practiced law in Kokomo and Peru, Indiana. He was a dedicated and determined advocate for his legal clients. Robert passed away on Aug 21, 2021, and he is survived by brothers Thomas (Sandra) Caravelli and James (Paula) Caravelli; and was uncle to Evan, Gregory, Paul, and Christian Caravelli, and grand-uncle to David, Gianna, Peter, Eva, James, Julia, Francis, and Thomas Caravelli. He will be missed by all. An 11 am memorial mass will be celebrated on Sept. 16, 2021, at St Paul Catholic Church in Marion, Indiana followed by a 1 pm interment at Marion National Cemetery.
