Robert Castilla, age 74, passed away January 8, 2025, in Houston, Texas.
He was born August 22, 1950, in Beeville, Texas to Rosendo Sr. and Dora Garcia Castilla.
Robert moved to Houston and opened an automotive repair shop where he owned and operated until his passing. Auto mechanics was a lifelong passion he shared with his father and brothers. Robert loved his Houston Astros, especially attending the games with his daughter Belinda.
Robert was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Robert Castilla, Jr. and brother, Rosendo Castilla, Jr.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Belinda Castilla of Houston; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Jane Fernandez, Ray Castilla (Carrie), Melba Castilla and Gloria Castilla (Rose) and; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Galloway and Sons Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. at Beeville Memorial Park.
Services are entrusted to Memory Gardens Funeral Home, Corpus Christi, Tx.
