Margarita Castilla Obituary
Margarita is preceded in death by her husband, Octavio Castilla Sr., her parents, Maximo and Cruz B. Martinez, her daughter, Maria Luisa Castilla, a granddaughter, 2 great-grandsons, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Margarita is survived by her loving children, Norma Jean Garcia, Diana (Rey) Garcia, and Octavio (Michelle) Castilla, her siblings Virginia "Regina" Carbajal and Joe Martinez. Also surviving Margarita are 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. A Chapel Service will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Berclair Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Garcia, Jonathan Castilla, James Garcia. Octavio Castilla III, Donny Campos, and Danny Campos. Honorary pallbearers will be all of Margarita's grandchildren.
In honor of Margarita's life and legacy, we invite you to share your memories and photos on her memorial page. These contributions will serve as a comforting reminder of the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the unforgettable mark she left on this world. We thank you for your support during this difficult time and for helping to keep Margarita's spirit alive.
