Robert Caughman Obituary
Bozy was born on September 28th, 1933, in West Columbia, SC, to Beatrice Lee Caughman and Arnon Wayne Caughman. He lived a full life, loving his family, telling stories about his time in the US. Navy, the Clemson Tigers and he never met an animal he didn't like. Bozy worked as a pressman at the SC State News Paper where he retired after 32 years.
Bozy is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jacqueline Thomas (Jackie) Caughman, His two sons, Gary Caughman and Craig Caughman (Tiffini Caughman). His Grandchildren Emily C. Howell (Brent Howell) and Zachary Saunders and his Great Grandson Duke Howell. He was preceded in death by both of his parents Beathrice Lee Caughman, Arnon Wayne Caughman and his sister Ruth Smith.
A memorial service to celebrate Bozy's life will be held on Friday March 21st at 2:00PM at Saluda River Baptist Church in West Columbia. Visitation will be from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at the church before the service begins. Friends and family are invited to join us in honoring his memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Family Life Center in Bozy's memory.
Bozy will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and hismemory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
